Training Opportunities

Bee-eater
Fundamentals of Ornithology
An intensive course targeting bird guides and birdwatchers, is run each year in collaboration with the Ornithology Department, National Museums of Kenya.

Nature Kenya works with the Tropical Biology Association under a Memorandum of Understanding. Each year the TBA runs several month-long field courses for graduate biologists and conservationists from all over Africa and Europe. Nature Kenya helps the TBA Follow up Programme, for African biologists after their TBA course.
Nature Kenya also nominates candidates for Earthwatch Fellowships. These provide exciting opportunities for young naturalists to take part in one of the Earthwatch Institute's research programmes around the world. Naturalists can write of their interest to the Executive Director at office@naturekenya.org
