Site Support Group is based in Kereita Forest, Kikuyu Escarpment,
with an office in Kimende Town on Nairobi – Nakuru Highway.
On April 11 2007, the local SSG moved their offices to the center.
The Kimende office is still operational but will be phased out with
time. Kikuyu Escarpment Forest is rich in avifauna, characteristic
of the central Kenyan highlands but with a composition different
from that of the nearby Aberdare Mountains. |
