Nguruman escarpment lies between Lake Magadi and Maasai Mara National Reserve. It hosts one of Kenya’s last remaining true wilderness areas which form a Cardinal Part of the Maasai Mara Ecosystem.
The escarpment has pockets of remote forests, wide open plains surrounded by the stunning hillsides. It is dotted with roaming wildlife and has an abundance of different bird species.
The escarpment offers an amazing view of the plains stretching to a distance of over 100km to Lake Magadi and Lake Natron.
A waterfall at the top of the escarpment has a great picnic ground overlooking steep forested valleys with a lot of birds and natural flower.
During the trip, we will explore and enjoy the lush green nature trails to the stunning Entasoopia waterfalls. The hike is takes about 6 hours to and fro trekking to the rocky top of the escarpment (about 1500m asl). We will get splendid opportunities to take memorable photos from its picturesque sceneries.
