Mammal Committee
The Mammals Committee seeks to conserve Kenya's mammals through information dissemination.

Through educational outings and talks, the Mammal Committee of Nature Kenya works for the conservation of mammals in Kenya, with a special focus on bats.

In September 2006 the committee received US$ 5,000 from Bat Conservation International under the small grant scheme.

The grant will be used for public awareness and education on bats in Shimoni cave at the Kenyan coast, Schools in Nairobi, Coast and Western Kenya where there are vulnerable bat roasts. The project will also target airport workers and tour guides.
