The
Journal of East African Natural History is published
jointly by the East Africa Natural History Society (Nature Kenya)
and the National Museums of Kenya with assistance from the Royal
Museum for Central Africa (Belgium). In 2005 another partner came
on board. The Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund has made the
JEANH one of it's key investments in the conservation of th Coastal
Forests and Eastern Arc Mountains Hotspot.
The
Journal publishes papers and notes in the field of natural history,
broadly defined as the study of organisms in their natural state,
relevant to the eastern African region. Of particular interest
are contributions that add to our knowledge of the status and
conservation of biological diversity in the region.
Since the biological landscape is to a large extent shaped by
man, papers on ethnobiology are also featured. |
